Yet, you seem to completely miss sight of so many people. You get rich, you start reading your own press releases, and get PR people who dress you, tell you how to relate to "the public", and get lost in the fog of your own making. You, and people like you are given a chance to really communicate and more important, connect to those of us, the majority, who are looking . For what? I cannot tell you that. You would not understand. I do not have crude punch lines, four, five, and six letter words to communicate and connect with you. You live in a narrow and defined world. So, another opportunity to make a difference is lost. Don' criticize President Obama for not taking initiative. For heaven sakes ,he's a politician. You, sir, are suppose to be a political activist. You are now in that top one percent of the pyramid. I do not think you could change if you wanted to. How's the view?

We love a good slogan. The bottom line is the bottom line. What does that mean? I think it means that we should not struggle for our dreams. Money should be the end of our intentions. Of course, the slogan makers don't say that. They are more careful and thoughtful than that. They say people struggle for their dreams. You want a good life. You want your children to have a better life than you had as a child. You want your own home. So, the bottom liners are smarter. Plain, honest, English won't do the talking. If they mention money, it sounds cold and calculating. So, we have slogans. If, you buy this car, you will be sexy. It can go really fast. What about speed limits, state troopers, dreaded local speed-traps, and GPS systems with tracking capabilities? No, just you in that great car slamming down that road all alone, no one in sight. So,you buy the car. Only the bottom liners did not say how expensive this dream is going to be. When those first, new payments start rolling in , you start to see your bottom line. I thought I 'd be feeling great. I thought this would be rewarding. I need a second job. So easy to get to your bottom line, and so hard to get away from it.

What I found most disconcerting about Mr. Maher's last show was not his usual, cynical self, or Silveman's Vatican routine. No, it was her constantly tossing her head and hair around everytime Mr. Maher looked her way. Hero worship-----give me a break! He's old enough to be her grandfather. Silly, silly, sillly.
