What a twist at the end! So we have to wait another 4 months now? Ugh!!! I really like this cast. Especially the characters from seasons 1 and 2. Next time I really wish they would show more of Larry's body because its perfection.

MAX definitally has something on when nothing else looks good, anytime im channel surfing I find myself stopping if not staying for several eps of something.

I LOVE Co-Ed Confidential! I know straight men are the main and target audience, however, gay and bi men also enjoy the show. Any chance of some full frontal male nudity? Not looking to turn it into a full on, hardcore porn, but if I guy just happened to not cover up his front, would that be such a problem?

I agree with an earlier post that it would be nice to see some throwback softcore from the 70s-90s. I maintain that when most if not all the actresses are fully shaved or nearly fully shaved something is just wrong. I appreciate a greater mix for sure but I guess thats just me and a sign of the times I guess. Again, throwback softcore would be fantastic, they didnt tend to have the quick choppy tease shots...speaking of which...
I agree with many of the posters here who have concern over quick choppy shots, basically tease shots, especially those shots that start to pan over the figure and then change when the goodies get near, its just disappointing. I appreciate more time spent, greater focus on real nudity and less on tease shots that change ultra fast.

Ok...i just saw my first episode of this show, and i echo that it is not nearly "dark" enough, but worse, it was a real turn-off, because all of the hot, buff men seemed to me to be totally gay. i have nothing against gay men, of course, but i found nearly every sex scene with these gay men and het women very implausible indeed, and not at all hot. bleah! They can't even act!
What a disappointment.

I'm so glad that I'm not the only one who thinks that the max late night tv shows are just bad representations of adult content. let's face it, porn stars aren't the best actors in the world, that's expected. but having them act like they're "doing it" is kind of awkward. it's clearly fake and there is never enough showing. I feel like I'm criticizing but I am in favor of story lines in adult television but faking the most important part of the film and limiting shots of the scene is just a definite turnoff to the whole show. I think that the ratings of these shows would be off the charts if the sex scenes weren't so fake and "soft." I'm not saying that the scenes have to be hardcore like the Internet but the should show more of the actors actually doing it, that way, it wouldn't be such a fake experience.

I have a cable company that does not have the ability to offer everything that cinemax offers in "On Demand" and they often cut older shows. I also do not get "cinemax Outer".
I just wish cinemax would cycle through the Coed Confidential features from older seasons about once every couple of months so I can set my DVR like is being done right now with Sex Games: Vegas features and appears to be starting with Black Tie Nights features.

I'm not sure how ratings system works. If the actors were to talk dirty or use certain "pillow talk" language would the rating be bumped up to X-rated? If it wouldn't maybe a little more of that would make these episodes more spicy. Once in a while, under their breath, you can here Syren or Rebecca Love utter some pretty hot talk. But for the most part all you hear is oooh, aaah and yes. Oh well, if not...its just a suggestion.

Well, I guess I spoke too fast. I just watched a couple more episodes of Co-Ed and everything I hate about most adult late night fare was back.
No real frontal shots, lighting too dark, no lingering pan shots of the women's body. What happened?
It's amazing that in the year 2009, when most adult PPV has become almost the same as regular hard-core, the soft core late night programming has remained almost identical as it was in the 80's.
I mean what the hell is the point of watching repeated scenes of women taking their bottoms off and then showing nothing. You'd think at the least basic pan shots of the front of a fully nude women would be the norm.
Yet once again, in the last two episodes of Co-Ed I just watched, 80% of the shots are of a guys back or a women taking her panties down standing side-ways. Virtually no shots of crotch or ass. Oh well. At least for a brief time this show looked promising.

I've had Cinemax for about 25 years and I have literally never watched any of the late night adult programming.
However, flicking over to Co-Ed the other night I noticed something amazing. They actually showed female frontal nudity, as in close-ups where you can, ya know, actually see it.
The lack of any emphasis on this area of the women's body is the main reason I NEVER watched any of the previous late night offerings. I never understood the logic of having scene after scene of women taking their panties off and seeing NOTHING.
It seemed to me the equivalent of having girls take their tops in scene after scene, yet never showing their breasts. Just silly.
When a girl pulls her panties down, that should be a sexy moment. Yet in most previous Cinemax shows at the moment that occurrs the girl is invariably side-ways or in some position where nothing is revealed.
In Co-Ed, they actually had the girl facing the camera, with the camera focused on the crotch in close-up so that at the moment the panties come down, the viewer actually gets to see what they want.
When it comes to soft-core fare like this the simulated sex is the least interesting part to me. The emphasis should be on the female form. Lots of just plain old hot girls getting naked and showcasing their bodies, which means occasional shots of the crotch area, and yes in a close-up. Even an occasional open leg shot, or bend over shot tastefully done is desirable.
No one is asking for ultra-graphic gynecological shots, but just shooting the scene whrere the girls body is showcased and one gets to see all the crucial areas.
I was actually just going to dump Cinemax. Now I might have to hold onto it a while.

I don't know why women's eyes are so often neglected when it comes to erotic films. Men complain we women don't like this kind of programing, and they would like for us to watch it with them, but it is totally geared toward male pleasure. How many guys would like to watch an erotic program where everything is focused on male bodies and male pleasure, even in a hererosexual setting? Every time you get close to seeing something of interest on the woman's body, the camera pulls away and goes back to the man. You would be enormously frustrated and insulted as a man. I personally think the male body is beautiful and quite erotic, but all I get is sexually frustrated when I watch scene after scene of celebrated female nudity as though we are somehow visually asexual. It is so easy to turn on guys, you would think they would want to see us turned on as well as we watch this type of programing. Giving us something to be turned on with would be a great help. Every so often we get thrown a token, but it would be great to be considered an equal partner when it comes to viewing your erotic programing. I would love to watch your cable late night erotic programing with my husband, but I know I am in for a night of frustration, and it just isn't any fun.
I do appreciate your efforts on occasion, but you people are going to have to do consistently better if you want to expand your audience. I for one would be a great fan. I love erotic films that cater to women's visual sensations too. And I am one of those women who doesn't care much for the story line. I just want to see the SEX!
Is there going to be more of an effort in the future to draw in more female viewers?
