I just noticed that my sister is linked to Sahara's FB page. **yeesh**. She has over 1,000,000 "friends" (Sahara, that is...my sister has considerably less). Sahara writes about as well as she speaks.

I think the idea of RTers who want to know each from more of a reality point of view can meet on Facebook. I know many want to remain anonymous, and that is cool too.

I created a bare-bones profile over a year ago just so I could look up an ex GF. I didn't go full-blown FB until a few months ago. I have siblings in NYC, Colorado, and WI so it allows me to keep track and in touch. I still don't get people who have hundreds or thousands of 'friends". I think half of my friends are folks I found here.

OK - since the vagina thread is gone, I'll guess I'll post this here. In yesterday's LA Times, there was a full page pic of one of my heart-throbs, Viggo Mortensen. I just think he is all that and a bag of chips AND the dip (especially the dip part!) Anyway, since my hunny knows how I feel about Mr Mortensen, he took the liberty of taping the pic to the ceiling above the bed, which I saw when I climbed into it last night. I cracked up!! Needless to say, my hunny got lucky last night!! (So did Viggo, but he doesn't know it.)

I resisted joining FB for a long time. I just didn't get it. Now I do. I have reconnected with some old friends and I like to see what my friends and family are up to. I especially like keeping up with what my niece is doing. She is a junior in h.s. She has a crazy mom and I worry about her.

I also saw the name of a boyfriend I had in 9th grade. I clicked and found out that he is 24 years old and is no relation! Shit! His grandpa is probably younger than I am. We had a good laugh tho and are "friends".

Found my best friend from 8th grade! We were great friends back then...very creative together (made short 8mm "action" movies, started a 4-man garage rock band, etc). We drifted apart after HS. Kinda threw me for a loop that he's now a church-goin Catholic who's very right wing. As Chuck Berry sang..."Ya never can tell".
