Yes, Muppets. Run with it. Try a little surrealism in your life. Take up the baton of apparently meaningless juxtaposition and run with it, Angelo. Your homework for today: baffle us (and possibly yourself) with some amusing Sopranos/Muppets riffing. I've started you off...

abozich63 sadi: ''I think my top 2 favorites would have to be Paulie and Silvio especially when they beat up the Jew back in season 1.'' I see that some people don't have too much trouble choosing their favourite Nazis after all...

I think of all the immoral, sociopathic, murdering, pimping, drug dealing, thieving, lying, hypocitical, two-faced sacks of sh*t in this series, my favourite would have to be... ... oh, I give up. I mean how can you have a favourite murderer? It's like being asked to choose your favourite Nazi. Having said all that, I'll choose Kermit. I particularly liked the way he subverted the fact that he is essentially a green felt glove puppet facsimile of a frog by offing Jimmy de Craprio with a cheese grater gaffa taped to a baseball bat. Brave, too, I thought, of David Chase to transpose a character from The Muppets into The Sopranos. But I'm glad he axed the proposed indtroduction of Gonzo as a hitman for Johnny Sacks's crew. That would have just been... silly.

My top five favorite characters are (in no particular order): 1. Uncle Junior 2. Mikey Palmice 3. Phil Leotardo 4. Richie Aprile 5. Ralph Cifaretto Uncle Jun, Phil and Richie were all old-school, which I thought was cool. Ralph was a funny guy, but also had his dark side. And Mikey was a badass: "Hijack, Bye Jack." Boom!

My favorite has to be Ralphie Cifaretto, can't explain why, Joe Pantoliano did a good job. I like how he was ruthless and funny, Plus he was a sharp dresser, and had nice hair I didn't like how in the fourth season they started to show all the fucked up things about him, like the masochistic sex and what not. There was nothing like that in the third season.

I can't believe no one's mentioned Uncle Junior. He's an awesome character and actor. And what about Tony B? Come on...Steve Buscemi? He's perfect. You can't beat that acting and plotline. Tony S blowing away his own cousin?

My two favorite characters are Tony and Janice. Although Janice has gone through a lot, she still is the witch after money, after a husband and always pawing off of Tony. Tony is a man who has standards but gets the job done. A boss like that is good. I think the reason he is my favorite character is because of James Gandolfini, his acting is what shines the character

Johnny Sacc. I loved the way he held his cigarette when he spoke plus he was a fabulous dresser.
