> Why in the heck did the season have to end this way?

This may be why Alan thinks we're dumb (notice I used an apostrophe?) :

> Look, The dam
(the word you're looking for here is "Damn". What you wrote is the thing that holds the water back, like a levee. )
> TB story is about vampires. Have you
> forgoten that?

> I am so ticked off that Eric had only afew
(I think you mean "a few." Spellcheck, anyone? )
> minutes of air time. Just to let you know, Eric is TRUE BLOOD,
> Bill too. I don't even know how the writters can even
> write the crap we have been seeing this season. If I
> were you,I would drain everyone of the bastards. I
> don't know what your smoking

(the word is "you're", a contraction for "you are", not the possessive, "These are your smoking implements. )

> but stop and get back to
> the basics of the story AB or better yet read the
> books. That might help.
> Bills hair? Anyone ever hear of Moe? Hoyt and his
> Mama, that was good. Jessica, thumbs up. The Queen?
> If you are smart and I know you must be it would do

(How about some punctuation? )

> you good to replace her..and fast.
> All the actors that have made TB have been killed off

(Colons aren't just bowel movements anymore. You should try using one. Maybe a semi. Hell, even a period.)

> Godic, Diane, Malcolm and Liam, just to name a few.
> They made TB what it is/suppose to be. What did we
> get instead? crap.

(If you're [See? An apostrophe] going to use capitals at all, which you apparently are, then one should be used here as well. Or resort to the old internet stand-by, and don't capitalize at all.

> AB you jumped the shark, shot yourself in the foot.

> You owe the fans and I am a hard core fan an big
> apology.

(Overall bad sentence structure. It sounds like you're saying, "You owe the fans." And then, "I am a hard core fan and big apology." So, you're an apology? Interesting. Oh. Also, you can either say, "an apology," or " a big apology. When you say things like , "an big apology," it makes you look like a moron. Wasn't that your big gripe in the first place?

P.S. An open plea to the rest of you:

Please, please, PLEASE stop saying "would of" and "could of". It's "would have", "could have" or more simply, "would've" and "could've". "Should've" also. Not "of". Please, in the name of all that is sacred and Holy, take an elementary English class.

AB..Thanks for giving us a show that is truly unique. Every show on television was about the same and this one came along and just blew me away. The shows plots may having ups and downs, but the amazing highs of it outweigh some of the lows.

The finale was okay for me. I was disappointed that Sookie didn't accept Bills proposal right away, as their chemistry is hot and what captured us in Season 1. I am sure that all the Book Eric fans will get their way and they will hook up, and I hope it lives up to all the hype these fans are screaming for. But just remember, the relationship that made this show such a hit at first was them. I just wonder once Eric and her hook up who the fans will be screaming at AB to get her with next. As once they connect, they will become bored and want her to move on just like they did with Bill.

I just thought the whole season was fun and will await season 3 :)

I like the Queen. Never saw her in anything else, this is the first time. I think she is fine, really. In fact, I liked her much better this week and poor Eric sure had a sad face around her. He looked so...troubled.

I am a new fan to TB. Inasmuch I have spent the past two weeks immersed in this superb, funny, clever, brilliant world. I have watched each ep at least three times On Demand. Yes, I love it that much! True, the writers really pushed viewers by veering so close to the edge of ridiculousness - what with all the Bacchanalian orgy scenes and the mass manipulation courtesy of MaryAnn. You pushed it, but the actors pulled it off so incredibly well - all of them. What could have been stupid and campy came off as interesting and funny (oh goodness Jason and Andy!). But not so much in the finale. The wedding, the lame wedding dress, that stupid meat temple, the poor, wonderful actresses forced to be silly bridesmaids (licking the egg? Puhleeze!), hysterical Layfayette made to be unforgivably boring in his dress, Sam "dying," and even Bill's corny date and proposal and the end...Ick. It was lacking and frankly beneath the quality of TB. After ten minutes the lot of us just kept looking at each other (and the clock) with question marks on our faces. No one could believe this is what the whole fantastic season was leading up to. What a bummer.

On the plus side after MaryAnn was finally got rid of (and thank God!) the interactions between everyone felt back to normal and slightly made up for the first half. I'm so glad Eggs is gone too. I'm sorry, but I was never that impressed with the actor. Being a part of such a superior cast is big shoes to fill. Not everyone is up to the task. And as much as I love Forbes, boy, was that character getting boring.

And thank you actors! I find it almost impossible to single anyone out but I just love me some Andy and Jason. And of course Erik! Bill is boring as sawdust sometimes and I hope that changes. My last thoughts are about the queen. I'm really bummed that she's turned out to be yet another corrupt character. Yawn. I felt so bad for Erik when she made a mockery of his loss. The choice to make her such a heartless b*tch made me write her off. In other words I don't care about her. How much more fun would it have been for her to be less one dimensional and to have a bit more integrity or "heart?" I personally would have loved for the queen to develop into a character like Erik that's much more complex. And how fun if she became a part of a "love" triangle between Erik and Sookie! Imagine all the fun watching this woman begin playing havoc with poor Sookie's life in her quest to have Erik's love. It would be a hoot because Sookie would be forced to battle even though she doesn't really want Erik! Then think if the queen dragged Bill into the fray? Oh the possibilities!

Anyway I look forward to you making it up to us next season. A half-serving of TB is nowhere near good enough.

Where to begin? I didn't find this finale "satisfying" as a finale. It wrapped up some things, but like the previous two episodes, it dragged. I have a lot of comments, so here goes.

First, yay to Maryanne being done. MF was absolutely amazing with her evil psycho-babble, but the storyline was overdone.

Second, Jason and Andy are becoming quite the buddy B-storyline. Their conversations are always amusing to me.

Third, bye bye Eggs, really won't miss you, but thanks for setting us up for what I hope will be more amusing chats between Andy and Jason.

Fourth, Eric and the Queen. As always Mr. Skarsgard was on top of his performance, and as always there wasn't nearly enough of him. I had hoped that his act would bring up EWR's portrayal of the Queen, but I was let down in a huge way. What the hell did you do to Sofie Anne to make her act the exact opposite of how she was in the books? I was so irritated with her yet again that the only thing keeping me from fast-forwarding through her scene was, you guessed it, Mr. Skarsgard. Her flippancy about Godric just made me want to slap the spoiled child into 90210 where she belongs. The V sales story better be a damn good one to have to endure her for much longer. I have my theories, but I'll keep those to myself for now. For the record, all those theories require little or no SA/ERW. Here's to wishful thinking!

Fifth, Bill and Sookie. My dear Lord, do I have mixed feelings on this. My first impression was "no way in hell, way too soon (it has been like 2 months in Bon Temps time??), no way will she say "yes". Then she ran out shouting, "yes!" and I was screaming "no!" at my television. Thankfully, Bill was taken before Sookie could make this gargantuan mistake.

My second impression is based on my book knowledge, so I won't put up any of those spoilers here. However, if my theory is how the storyline is going to go, then I will be very happy, and Bill will not. I will be patient and see how things unfold next season.

The Bill kidnapping...
Again, first impression was bad, "if they make Eric the kidnapper, I will stop watching in protest!"

And again, my second impression is mixing book content with the television story we've been shown. I'm almost 100% convinced Eric is the red herring in this crime, just as Sam was the red herring in season one after Dawn was murdered. I strongly believe Lorena or another party (or a mix of both) will be the culprit(s) here.

Sixth, Sam. Finally, this man is in the spotlight. Until the finale, he irritated me with his Sooking pining and silent suffering about how unfortunate and different he was, but now the man has shown some balls and regained my respect. The white ox/bull/whatever effects were cheesy when the horn went through Maryanne, but I don't mind the effects thus far since it fits the theme. I look forward to his story unfolding in the future. I enjoyed Sam so much in the finale that Saint Bill being all Jesus-like and heroic again didn't bother me as much as all the previous times.

Lastly, Lafayette. So not enough Laffy in the finale, but I'll let it slide this once.

In the future season, I have some wishes I want to get out there.
1. More communication/collaboration amongst writers. There are too many continuity holes and repetitive conversations/scenes.
2. Are vamps able to regrow their hair or not?? Make up your minds. Bill's grew back after his sunburn in season 1, yet Pam was beyond pissed when she had to cut Eric's shorter than she wanted. What's the big deal if it'll grow again?
3. Speaking of Pam... needs moar, do want!
4. Please stop making Tara cry so much.
5. Recast ERW or write her out completely. Seriously. Any future scenes that require someone to talk to her in person, rewrite those to one-sided phone conversations so I don't have to see or hear her. I really, really cannot stand her as Sofie Anne. Nothing against the actress, I don't know the woman or her other roles, but I do not like her in this one. I'm sure the director(s) are to blame as well, so... shame on you too.

Finale was the worst episode to date on many levels. Bill and Sookie getting engaged... seriously?

I'm so beyond frustrated I don't know where to start. Unless Season 3 returns to the cohesive storytelling of Season 1, I won't be watching much longer.

It doesn't have to be EXACTLY like the books, but I think the audience can handle the characters having a little more depth and being more dynamic. Bill isn't ALWAYS the hero and Eric isn't ALWAYS the villain.

The writers seriously need to close some gaps in the story lines. Don't assume that no viewer isn't going to realize that most of the reason Sookie was attracted to Bill in the first place was because she drank his blood. PLEASE don't gloss over this, as it's a very important point that relates to a very important plot twist from the books. Even if you aren't going to have the same EXACT plot twist that Harris uses in book 6 with Bill and Sookie, it needs to happen in another way. It's a pretty significant part of the entire book series and removing that one hinge pin would be like removing a major character. I'm concerned because now we have Sookie and Bill engaged (ugh).

Cull the minor characters story lines and have them relate to the central action PLEASE (ala Season 1). I don't know what you are doing with Hoyt, Jessica, and his mom, but please do SOMETHING and do it quick. At least we don't have yet another couple (since Eggs was killed) that have to have their entire separate story to detail.

Action, action, conflict, action! This is part of what made Season 1 awesome. Nothing slow or drawn out, like the prolonged poolside convos, repeated orgies, etc. of Season 2.

I have no desire to see a Better Tombs and Cemeteries life of Bill and Sookie.
